China Railway Express and sea-land combined transportation provides seamless route for the platform

In June 2017 CECZ started to operate the China Railway Express and successively opened several lines including Changsha-Budapest, Xi'an-Budapest, Jinan-Budapest, Ganzhou-Budapest and Linyi-Budapest. As of December 2020, a total of more than 350 China Railway Express freight trains have been operated, supporting China-Hungary trade and Chinese-funded enterprises' investment in Hungary and neighboring countries.

CECZ cooperates with COSCO China Headquarters, starting from Shenzhen, Ningbo and other ports in China, transporting the goods to Piraeus Port in Greece or Koper Port in Slovenia and forwarding them to the destination Budapest via Haihong Train.

CECZ has rich experience in professional logistics for the field of engineering. In 2019 it launched a special train for the Hungary-Serbia Railway (Serbia section). In 2017, it was designated by the Hungarian National Development Bank as the sole logistics carrier for the “BBCA Szolnok Biochemical Co., Ltd.” project and provided continuous logistics consulting services for the engineering project. CECZ provided overall logistics solutions for the China Railway No.9 Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Electrification Bureau Group Co., Ltd. in the Hungary-Serbia Railway (Hungary section) project and was the logistics provider for the pre-project materials of China Railway No.9 Group Co., Ltd. in 2020. CECZ has also provided international logistics services for Huawei's European Supply Center as well as local European logistics and warehousing services for many Chinese companies in Hungary, including BorsodChem Hungary and ZTE Hungary.

The Air Silk Road creates new growth for the platform

CECZ-owned air transportation service has opened a regular round-trip "Zhengzhou-Budapest" air cargo route with 7 flights a week. It can also provide customized air cargo services such as temporary charter flights, project charter flights and peak season charter flights.

On 26th January 2021, CECZ signed a contract with Henan Airport Group on the "Air Silk Road" Sino-Hungarian Air Cargo Hub project at Zhengzhou Airport and will jointly build an overseas cargo terminal in Budapest Airport. Prof. Dr. László Palkovics, Hungarian Minister of Innovation and Technology and Mr. Liu Bo, the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary both attended the event online and delivered speeches.
